Somatic movement, somatic healing, yoga

Courtney Deri is a movement artist, meditation teacher, and spiritual coach who works from the belief that the body is one of our most reliable teachers. Her work blends athleticism with presence, drawing from dance, somatics, music, yoga, and breathwork to create experiences that are both physically engaging and inwardly clarifying.

After spending twelve years in New York refining her craft, Courtney relocated to Los Angeles, where she teaches in studios, digital spaces, and private settings. Her work has supported communities at The Class, Three Jewels, Yoga For Bad People, TONAL, CLMBR, Equinox+, Yoga Shanti, and Y7, as well as professional dance companies including California Dance Theatre, Los Angeles Ballet, and BoSoma Dance Company.

Alongside extensive training across movement disciplines, Courtney is a longtime student of Tibetan Buddhism and yogic philosophy. With over 1,000 hours of dedicated study in the Geluk Tibetan Buddhist lineage, including deep-study programs and silent retreats, she focuses on translating these teachings into grounded, everyday practices that support clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

In addition to group offerings, Courtney works with clients one-on-one through spiritual coaching. Her approach is practical, accessible, and rooted in somatic awareness, supporting individuals through periods of transition, growth, and realignment.

Across all formats, Courtney’s intention is consistent: to help people build an honest, sustainable relationship with themselves through movement, breath, awareness, and lived experience in the body.
